1999 - Balance: The Music of Arnold Schoenberg

The Victor Performance Ensemble's inaugural year presented a program entitled Balance: The music of Arnold Schoenberg.

This years program presents an abstract look at the evolution of balance. Balance is personified by balance beams that are constructed on the floor.

The ensemble begins the program "out of balance" and on the floor. As time progresses, the balance beams are created and then explored by dancers, riles, and flags.

The program ends with the ensemble achieving balance on the beams and the floor.
